Manudevi Foundation Nandurbar
Shri Rajesh Namdeo Chaudhary
As a resident of the remote tribal district of Nandurbar, I have dedicated my life to serving individuals with disabilities and making a positive impact on society. With qualifications in B.A.D.Ed, Deaf Teacher Training, and CTC courses, I established the Manudevi Foundation Nandurbar in 2004. Through this organization, I have initiated various activities such as a residential school for the deaf and mute, training centers for deaf and mute teachers, a rehabilitation center for the disabled, a free computer training center, and a reading room.
Additionally, I have been appointed to the National Trust Committee, where I work on the rehabilitation of mentally challenged children and conduct parenting workshops. With a commitment to social work, I have provided self-employment opportunities to disabled individuals, facilitating their education, and organized mass marriages across different castes and religions. Recognitions and awards for my outstanding work include the National Ratna Award, Maharashtra Gaurav Award, Indira Gandhi Goodwill Award, and more.
